Cavitation Example - Rexroth A10VO Pump Valve Plate

This is an example of how cavitation can damage hydraulic components. In this case, it's a valve plate from a Rexroth A10VO axial piston pump. More on this interesting phenomenon in my post on "Cavitation in Hydraulic Systems".
